National Science Week Grants

Open funding is available to support exciting and innovative National Science Week activity that facilitates attendance and involvement of the general public, across Australia and in the Northern Territory.

The purpose of the funding is to support activity that draws the community’s attention towards science, enabling people to participate in science events whilst fostering partnerships between the community, research organisations and industry.

Community Grants NT Program

Up to $12,000 of funding (maximum of $3,000 per event) is available to community groups to assist with the running of innovative events during the Northern Territory’s National Science Week.

National Funding

National Science Week Grants

Activities that aim to engage the general public in science may be eligible for funding between $2,000 and $20,000. A total of $500,000 of funding is available Australia wide to support exciting events and activities that promote and encourage interest in science, engineering, technology and innovation, and communicate their relevance in everyday life.

National School Grants

Individual schools can apply for funding of up to $500 to assist with activity during National Science Week. A grant pool of $90,000 is available for schools Australia wide.
