The Prime Minister’s Prizes for Science are Australia’s most prestigious and highly regarded awards for outstanding achievements in scientific research, research-based innovation and excellence in science teaching.

The Prizes are a tribute and inspire a sense of national pride by recognising the achievements and success of Australian scientists and innovators both domestically and internationally; as well as the critical role science educators play in inspiring and encouraging students to take an interest in science and consider science as a career.
