The Bebras Australia Computational Thinking Challenge, is an interactive way to teach students from grades 3-12 computational thinking and employability skills such as collaboration and problem solving. Highlighting foundational skills such as pattern recognition and algorithms — the challenge is free to join and Australian curriculum-aligned. In March more than 24 500 Australian students participated in the challenge as either individuals or teams. The second challenge is from 26 August – 6 September 2019 and is run by the CSIRO Education & Outreach program, Digital Careers.
